PBN maintains a range of manufacturing capabilities to meet the needs of existing and new customers. The company utilises a Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system, which is a very useful tool for the smooth progress of production planning; materials and inventory control; and manufacturing processes. The system provides a seamless flow of information starting from the sale through to delivery.
PBN utilises a 120 channel matrix DTS-C, incorporating advanced digital processing equipment and multi channel RF generator. This combination permits full automatic distortion measurements and cross modulation. Descriptive second order and desired third order measurements can be made - including measurements for CNR and HUM inter-modulation in both analogue and digital carriers between 5~1000 MHz.
Optical measurement systems used for power, wavelength, reflection and distortion for all lasers, receivers and EDFAs are employed, so are, advanced high speed data testing systems for 10/100/1000 Mbps FTTx applications.
PBN's manufacturing boasts:
- Comprehensive manufacturing, testing and system configuration capabilities.
- RF products, 5 MHz ~ 2 GHz.
- Optical products - amplifiers, laser transmitters, receivers, filters, modulators, WDM and couplers.
- Data 100/1000 Mbps optical transmission products - VoIP and FTTx.
- HFC and FTTx nodes and headend products.
PBN has built a strong reputation throughout the industry by the successful commercialisation of products. Not all networks are the same. There is a significant need for technology and products to suit specific individual requirements and budgets. PBN has been tailoring systems for customers for many years.
