About the Product

Presenting the new and advanced Light Link® Series 3 Quad Optical Line Terminal Module (QOLTM). Designed for IEEE802.3ah compliant GEPON, the QOLTM is part of PBN’s high density FTTx product range. The module is designed to fit into the OCM chassis with plug and play technology for ease of installation and management.

The QOLTM and the matching ONU subscriber units enable the deployment of complete, cost effective, low maintenance, next generation GEPON systems for business and residential networks.

Designed to operate in a shared fibre environment catering for up to a total of 256 subscribers per module, the QOLTM supports full-duplex, bi-directional transmission over one fibre core up to 20 km.

Delivering both Gigabit Ethernet and CATV services, the QOLTM includes dynamic bandwidth allocation (DBA) and QoS enforcement for multi-service applications that deliver “Triple Play” communication services.

Status monitoring and control is available for local hardware from the OCM keypad. EPON monitoring and provisioning is provided through a SCMM system control and management module, with a network port for remote NMS3-EPSM software.
