System Control and Monitoring Module - for OCMR

About the Product

The PBN System Control and Monitoring Module (SCMM) for OCM/EPON can manage one OCMR chassis with up to 8 x QOLTM modules.  This equates with 32 EPON ports with each up to 64 subscriber modems (ONU), totalling up to 2048 subscribers per SCMM.

The SCMM allows remote control, monitoring and auto-provisioning of the Ethernet Passive Optical Network (EPON) devices via SNMP.

Sophisticated diagnostics services are available for easy fault-finding and for automated network audits.  Setting up of guaranteed bandwidth, VLANS and rate limiting for EPON subscribers is a breeze with the SCMM module.

Current release provides for one SCMM module per OCMR chassis.  Future planned software upgrades will permit dual redundant modules in active/standby configuration and an HTTP/XML interface for third party billing and provisioning systems.
