AOCM3924 1000Mbit Switch
AOCM3924 1000Mbit Switch
24 Port SFP-based 1000Mbit Switch

About the Product
The PBN AOCM3000 series switching products provide high-performance and low-cost point-to-point FTTx aggregation switches with an extensive feature set. With their wire-speed switching capabilities these devices can be used in remote headends as well as in a central headend aggregation deployment scenario. Fully integrated into the PBN network management system, we support rapid deployments to improve time-to-market for green-fields as well as existing operators.
The AOCM3924 SFP-based Gigabit switch is ideal for connecting full-speed residential and business subscribers with bandwidth up to 1000 Mbit/sec (symmetrical). A full set of QoS and security features allows operators to guarantee service levels for both connectivity and bandwidth. An optional, up to 4 x 10 Gbit/sec uplink allows for redundant uplink connectivity. An optional secondary power supply guarantees uninterrupted power to the switching unit.
Tightly embedded in the PBN FTTx solutions product lines, this switch can be used in conjunction with our CATV overlay products and triple-play fiber-access gateway products.
This switch is an excellent fit for decentralized deployments as well a central aggregation of multiple headends. Its fully-featured L3 protocol set allows for easy connection to redundant backbones and IP uplinks. With its clustering and cascading technology, this device allows you to easily expand as you grow without large up-front investments.
Typical Application Diagram for AOCM3000-series Switches
Centralized Triple-Play deployment with subscriber lines terminating in central headend location.
Decentralized Triple-Play deployment with subscriber lines terminating in a remote location. Uplink via multiple (up to 4) redudant 10GigE links from AOCM3924 to AOCM6000-series chassis.
