Pacific Broadband Networks (PBN) operates a successful manufacturing department comprising of full time and part time staff. The manufacturing team is responsible for the production of our highly successful optical broadband catalogue and OEM products. PBN's flexibility and strengths are enhanced by the extensive expertise of dedicated staff.
PBN predominantly manufactures products in Australia , but some products are produced in the United States of America and Asia . The manufacturing department utilises an MRP system to provide a seamless flow of information between product sales and product deliveries.
Our manufacturing department utilises a 120 channel matrix DTS-C, incorporating advanced digital processing equipment and multi channel RF generator. This combination permits full automatic distortion measurements and cross modulation. Descriptive second order and desired third order measurements can be made - including measurements for CNR and HUM inter-modulation in both analog and digital carriers between 5-1000 MHz.
Optical measurement systems used for power, wavelength, reflection and distortion for all lasers, receivers and EDFA are employed, so are, advanced high speed data testing systems for 10/100/1000 Mbps FTTx applications.
PBN's manufacturing area boasts:
