About the Product

The Light Link® Series 3 NMS3-NetCraft remote access tool has been designed for performance management of HFC cable television systems and broadband customer access networks.

NetCraft interfaces with PBN’s OCMR chassis via the SNMP protocol over a TCP/IP network. This allows an operator to remotely monitor and control all NMS3 compatible broadband optical transmission equipment in the network.

NetCraft connects to one field device at a time, either called directly from the command line or via shortcuts on the desktop. A clean graphical user interface is presented for ease of operation.

The NMS3-NetCraft CD comes packed as a free inclusion with each SNMP enabled PBN device.  It is also available separately as a standalone package.  NMS3-NetCraft does not require an application server in the network, however it can successfully be deployed on a headend server machine and then remotely operated via Windows Terminal Services.
