About the Product

The Forward Path Receiver Module (FPRM) has been designed to receive optical wavelengths of 1280 nm to 1580 nm and convert them to RF signals for MATV, CATV, and broadband applications.

The FPRM module easily combines with the OCM mainframe chassis utilising plug-and-play technology to suit a variety of applications.

The optical receiver module offers superior frequency response with excellent distortion and noise characteristics. The FPRM has a bandwidth of 45 to 1000 MHz with a high output level.

The FPRM optical receiver module includes automatic gain control (AGC), which is based on broadband detection or optional pilot detection for a single frequency.

The RF output level AGC set-point and the slope can be soft-controlled via the control keypad on the OCM user interface.
