ODN-RFoG
ODN-RFoG
Optical Distribution Node for RFoG Networks

About the Product
The Light Link® Series 2 Optical Distribution Node for Radio Frequency over Glass (RFoG) is a prime building block for delivery of cable television with DOCSIS based high speed Internet services over PON compliant Fibre to the Home (FTTH) cable plant.
The ODN-RFoG is well suited to expand existing DOCSIS/HFC networks with some FTTH segments in new or renovated areas, without the need to deploy alternate provisioning and billing systems.
The ODN-RFoG includes a four port Erbium Doped Fibre Amplifier (EDFA) for the forward path. This provides capacity for up to 32 or 64 CATV/DOCSIS customers per port, totalling up to 128 or 256 customers per node.
The return path can be equipped with one or two dual optical receiver modules for 5~65 MHz, an RF combiner and one or two optical return path transmitter modules with various laser types.
The unit comes with single or dual power supply modules and an optional DOCSIS/HMS based remote management module.
