The Light Link® Series 2 Optical distribution node with two amplified RF ports (ODN2P) has been designed to deliver interactive CATV and high capacity DOCSIS services. The ODN2P is IP67 rated and suitable for outdoor and indoor applications.

The ODN2P deep fibre node solution suits the last-mile in broadband access networks. The small and rugged design makes this unit an ideal answer for fibre-to-the-apartment and fibre-to-the-curb applications.

The ODN2P can also be equipped with return path transmitter modules for various optical wavelengths, making CWDM single fibre operation a viable solution.

The ODN2P return transmitter has a 4.5 MHz pilot generator and an FSK modulator for node status monitoring. When connected to an RPQRM headend port, all node data is available to the NMS3 network management system.
