The CPLT optical transmitter is available with either a linear isolated Fabry-Perot (FP) laser or with a linear isolated uncooled Distributed Feed Back (DFB) laser, providing up to 2 mW optical output power.
The unit is available in a forward path version with 45~870 MHz bandwidth and a return path version with 5~200 MHz bandwidth.
The sturdy aluminium housing is suitable for use in MATV, CCTV, microwave IF, satellite IF, trunked two-way radio and multi-carrier digital transmission systems.
The 45~870 MHz forward path version can be employed in small MATV/CATV systems with a large number of TV and radio channels.
The 5~200 MHz return path version includes a 4.5 MHz pilot carrier at -13 dB for easy system alignment.
If used with the PBN RPQRM return path receiver, this pilot will automatically control the RF output level on the RPQRM receiver. The actual pilot level is available on the OCM readout. |
