LT802 - Fast/Gigabit Ethernet Line Transceiver Unit

The LT802 line transceiver unit operates bi-directionally over one single mode fibre core. The unit delivers full duplex Fast Ethernet or full duplex Gigabit Ethernet to remote head-ends or to data network subscribers. A popular application is the use as an Ethernet uplink in distributed DOCSIS CMTS deployments.

The local area network (LAN) interface supports auto-negotiating 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet or fixed 1000 Mbps Gigabit Ethernet via an RJ-45 twisted pair connector.

The RJ45 twisted pair connection allows the use of legacy Ethernet switching or routing equipment. This gear can now readily connect to fibre optic trunk lines at minimum cost.

The wide area network (WAN) interface supports full duplex operation over one single mode fibre core up to 110 km line lengths.

An integrated SNMP/HTTP management module allows for continuous network monitoring.

• IEEE802.3u/z standards compliant.

• Options for CWDM wavelengths of 1310 nm, 1470 nm, 1490 nm, 1510 nm, 1530 nm, 1550 nm, 1570 nm, 1590 nm, 1610 nm.

• Connects remote cable modem termination system CMTS units with full duplex Fast Ethernet or with full duplex Gigabit Ethernet over one single mode fibre core.

• Readily available options for long fibre lines as customary in electrical HV networks.

• Indicator LED's show link status and data activity for both copper port and fibre port.

• Comes with a fully integrated NMS3 SNMP and HTTP management module.

• Use two identical LT802 units for a link. Or mate with an LTM802 module or an FPR unit.
