ODN2P - 2 Port Optical Distribution Node

The Light Link ® Series 2 Optical distribution node with two amplified RF ports ( ODN2P ) has been designed to deliver interactive CATV and high capacity DOCSIS services. The ODN2P is IP67 rated and suitable for outdoor and indoor applications.

The ODN2P deep fibre node solution suits the last-mile in broadband access networks. The small and rugged design makes this unit an ideal answer for fibre-to-the- apartment and fibre-to-the-curb applications.

The ODN2P can also be equipped with return path transmitter modules for various optical wavelengths, making CWDM single fibre operation a viable option.

The ODN2P return transmitter has a 4.5 MHz pilot generator and an FSK modulator for node status monitoring. When connected to an RPQRM headend port, any and all node data is available to the NMS3 network management system.

• High-performance optical CATV receiver with high RF output level delivering full bandwidth analog cable television 45 MHz to 1000 MHz (110 NTSC or 91 PAL channels), as well as DVB-C and DVB-T digital television standards.

• One auto-negotiating Gigabit Ethernet subscriber port and another auto-negotiating Fast Ethernet subscriber port.

• Strict SLA enforcement for tiered services such as voice and video.

• Supports full duplex 802.3x flow control and back pressure.

• Support MIB counters for network statistics.

• Supports IEEE Std-802.3ah forward error correction (FEC)

• Supports IGMPv1 and v2 for multicasting.

• Enhanced security with 128 bit AES.

• Supports VLAN 802.1Q and priority 802.1p with 8 priority queues.

• Compact, lightweight indoor unit with optional panel mounting box with fibre splice organiser.
