RPRXM - Return Path Receiver Module

The RPRXM optical return path receiver module is designed to plug in to the RCC16 return path communications chassis.

The receiver module can operate at all common HFC optical wavelengths between 1300 nm and 1600 nm including the popular CWDM grids. The return path RF output from 5ü200 MHz is used in the headend to deliver VOD, SMS, video, telephony or DOCSIS data signals originating from each subscriber via the remote optical node.

The RPRXM provides basic status monitoring capabilities for a remote AMCP1315 fibre node with RLM return laser module.

An optional 4.5 MHz FSK demodulator is available to get more detailed data from the remote fibre node, if that node is fitted with a 4.5 MHz pilot generator with FSK modulator.
