The compact hard disk rack server with 1 RU height contains dual drives in RAID 1 configuration. The server collects data and alarm messages from the connected equipment and stores this information in a local database.
The server stores all pertinent network configuration
data together with an event history so that this
information will be readily available to any of the
connected NMS3 Dragon View clients.
The server gathers information from connected NMS3 Net Dragon proxy hosts, OCMC-SNMP chassis, and other compatible devices over an IP network via the SNMP protocol.
