FPRM- Forward Path Receiver Module

The FPRM optical receiver module has been designed to receive optical wavelength of 1300 nm to 1610 nm and convert them to RF signals for MATV, CATV, and broadband applications.

The FPRM module easily combines with the OCM mainframe chassis utilising plug and play technology to suit a variety of applications.

The optical receiver module offers superior frequency response with excellent distortion and noise characteristics. The FPRM has a bandwidth of 45 to 1000 MHz with a high output level.

The FPRM optical receiver module includes automatic gain control (AGC), which is based on broadband detection or optional pilot detection for a single frequency.

The RF output level AGC setpoint and the slope can be soft-controlled via the control keypad on the OCM user interface.
